I am so excited today. I finally decided on a back splash for my modern prairie kitchen. We have lived in our home for over three years and I don't know why this has been such a hard decision for me. (well I am kind of picky)
We knew we wanted a honed marble subway tile. We decided to go with the 3x9 tiles and we looked all over. Amazon had a pretty good deal with free shipping but in the end the cheapest was a local store called Floor and Decor. We bought the light grey grout and our friend came over and did an excellent job.
Here's a before picture of our 1979 kitchen.
We completely gutted the kitchen and turned it into a galley kitchen.
It was a lot of fun designing it.

I love the marble window shelf. It's perfect for my succulents and cacti. A lot of people also asked me about the rug. It's from Home Goods.
